Experiential education as support in adolescent development
This paper is about the developing tasks adolescents have to get through on their way to adulthood and whether they can get support by experiential education. Furthermore, the different developing tasks should be shown, these are: learning to deal with a new body, maturing with regards to sexuality, the changes of the social relationships, job orientation and training and developing a new, mature identity. To show the opportunities experiential education offers, it is how it can support the adolescents with the above mentioned tasks. It could be shown, that experiential education has positive effects on the personality of the adolescent, which also leads to positive impacts in other sectors of their young lives.
