The subject of this paper is the temporary accommodation of minors. Many times, as a result of the supervision of families conducted by the youth welfare office of Vienna, it is necessary to relocate the children to a temporary accommodation. This intervention should be a preventive action to save the infants health and to protect them against violence from their legal guardians.

Based on the literature of professionals in the area of parents under compulsion my aim is to underline how important it is that the parents are embedded in the whole process from the very beginning.
The aim of this paper is to highlight that the success factor in re-integrating the child in their nuclear family is reached by including both the child and parents in professional discussions from the very beginning.
