This thesis deals with "socio-pedagogical employment promotion for adolescents at the transition from school to work". The structural change of working life and the educational expansion result in an increased pressure on adolescents. Those of them with a low level educational degree are at risk getting unemployed after leaving school. Therefore, governmental efforts provide an "education guarantee" to support young people at the transition from school to work. This education guarantee includes an amount of projects, for example the idea of job trainings to support the junction to working life. In Vienna, the process of job integration is embedded in a system called "transition-management". Next to the activities regarding the network enhancement of plan sponsors, social decision-makers and executives, the main focus is providing infrastructure of social-pedagogy and ensuring low level access for juveniles between the ages of 15 and 24. According to these requirements, the effectiveness of Vienna's transition system and two job training concepts regulated by law are going to be evaluated in this thesis.
