This bachelor thesis is a theoretical discussion of the issue of domestic violence. In particular, the focus is on men with an immigrant background, while in the first part of the paper defines violence and migration, and explains the origin of domestic violence. Furthermore, the forms and effects of domestic violence are presented. Because migrants often belong to a multiple-discriminated society group, other risk factors of the domestic violence are described for migrants. With the help of that demands and action possibilities are formulated to the social work in dealing with domestic violent migrants.
