People with invasive lung cancer need the intensive support of palliative care. Particularly in the incurable cancer care characteristic phenomena, shortness of breath and pain, care is of great importance attributed. Patients on their last journey should be well trained and looked after to learn a dignified and pain-free as possible demise. Not only physical, but also mental problems should be encouraged. By certain self-nursing measures, drug therapies and therapeutic methods without drugs, people with invasive lung cancer are well looked after. Furthermore, communication between nurses and patients has a very high value. Without support and education the patients lose not only themselves, but also the strength to cope with everyday life.
