The fictitious firm Probaris, that is approved by §63 of the Arzneimittelgesetz, is specialised in storing samples according to current GMP-standards. The firm Probaris now wants to outsource all routine Pest-Control activities to an external service provider. For this purpose the EU-GMP-Guideline requests the engrossment of a written contract between the contract giver and the contract acceptor. In this paper the corresponding GMP-specifications and their implementation will be exemplified. Furthermore, the firm Probaris has to assess the competence of the external provider beforehand, to find out whether he is able to successfully carry out the outsourced activities according to current quality specifications. Therefore, the firm Probaris elaborates a risk analysis for a possible pest infestation and works out a questionnaire, which allows the external provider a self-assessment and afterwards is essential for placing an order. The risk analysis and the questionnaire will also be discussed in this paper.
