This Thesis deals with effects caused by trauma, which influence the living environment of unaccompanied minor refugees. Focused on the process of integration, the question is, whether those traumatic experiences have influence on these processes and how. The first, hermeneutical, part of this thesis includes some definitions and basic explanations about unaccompanied minor refugees, trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder, resilience and developmental psychology as well as effects caused by trauma. To finalize the first part, methods of rehabilitation will be specified. For the second part, the empiricism, Interviews were conducted based on the research question and compiled hypotheses. The information gathered from the interviews, has been exploit with help of qualitative data analysis. Statements regarding trauma, resilience, development psychology, integration, traumatherapy and personal needs as well as barriers had been collected and evaluated. In favor of the processes of integration it is necessary to overcome language barriers. A stabilized and trustful relationship is very helpful. Those are the major outcomes of this thesis. Based on those statements, an idea for a project has been developed and an explanation can be found at the end of this work.
