Bullying at school - Can school social work with its traditional social work methods deal with this problem?
This bachelor thesis deals with the already long known phenomenon of "bullying at school." It should be examined which people are involved in the bullying process, what are the decisive factors which lead to bullying are for it and which possible impact will be applied to children and teenagers. Furthermore this paper explains how far bullying can be resolved by school social workers with its traditional social work methods. At the beginning the term bullying will be defined, as well as the process of this aggressive behaviour. Another attention should focus on other persons, who are involved, as well as the origin terms of the aggressive, mostly, violent action, under which bullying develops. Another part of this work deals with social work at school, especially with the subject, which methods of social work can be useful for school social workers, concerning the problem bullying at school. Finally a summary is in conclusion and a preview for the future is given.
