This thesis deals with social welfare systems, like the welfare state and social entrepreneurships. These systems are described theoretically, based on specialised literature, as also illustrated on real institutions. The description focus on the international and national systems.
To explain the difference in more detail two of these organisations, a social entrepreneurship and a social welfare state institution will be compared. On one side the Kids Company in London, as an example for a flexible, innovative and private social entrepreneurship and on the other side a public, stable and legislative working governmental organisation in Vienna, the Magistrat 11.
Social entrepreneurships and government institutions are not in direct competition, on the contrary, there may even be synergies between them.
