This study is based on the concept of Wilfred R. Bion's Container-Contained, of the three- to six-year-old children in kindergarten. For the implementation of the theoretical considerations into practical experience, the relationship between two people is seen as a decisive factor, which is why a focus is placed on the kindergarten-teacher-child relationship. Starting from two observation logs, interactions between child and his preschool-teachers are analyzed in the sense with the Bion's Container-Contained-Process. It has to be looked upon, in which cases Containment is possible. With Bion's Container-Contained-Concept and the attachment theory, relevant guiding questions are developed and parallels of these two concepts demonstrated. Highlighting supporting and hindering factors for the Container-Contained-Process creates an awareness of the inner need of the child.
