This bachelor thesis deals with the acutal practice of the viennese youth work dealing with young refugees, with a special focus on political education. The questions relate to the sense of young refugees in the open youth work and furthermore to their actual situation in Vienna. How the viennese youth work deals with the topic escape and moreover, what does youth worker mean by political education of young refugees, and what are the special necessities caused by the topic. Furthermore, it contains how their daily practice work is influenced by this topic and identifies barriers that limits the political education of this group. The major result of this thesis is a contextualization of the target group young refugees with the open youth work in vienna. It gives an overview of the political educational practice of youth work related to the target group. Qualitative research and furthermore replies to the questions was done by single interviews and a group discussion with viennese youth workers. |
