This work focuses on tertiary prevention offers of anti-violence programs in Vienna. The target audience of these programs is limited to male adolescents and young adults between 14 and 21 years. Our interviews with experts of the institutions “Männerberatung Wien”, “Neustart” and “Rettet das Kind” give a detailed comparison of the concepts and approaches in the processing of violent behavior by these three providers. The results of the survey were categorized as part of a qualitative content analysis and divided into three chapters. In the first part, the institutions and their different concepts and methodological approaches are presented. Then we will give an insight into the lives of young people and discuss the possible motives and causes of criminal behavior. Finally, a direct comparison of anti-violence trainings / therapies is presented. This part also deals with the methods used and the conditions of the programs. The conclusion of this work is a project outline, which includes a first concept of a self-help group for relatives of violent youngsters. |
