This Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of “onboarding in elementary educational institutions". Thereby case material in form of a work discussion paper from a team meeting in an elementary educational institution has served as starting point. In the differentiated debate with the case, following the research interest, the view was focused on the accompaniment of the training process of new team members from the perspective of kindergarten management. The focus here was on the content of human resource management and education social management, to examine their applicability for the onboarding of new team members into elementary educational institutions. First possible foci of the case material for the onboarding of new team members from the perspective of the kindergarten management were worked out and then based on management knowledge, analyzed. Finally, from this analysis, pedagogic consequences for elementary educational institutions, which show the possibilities and limitations of the social and organisational integration of new members into a team, were formulated.
