This work is the result of the research workshop "Living Realities and Intervention Possibilities in Community Construction - Social Work between Lifeworld- and Social Space Perspectives" on the topic "How are the dietary habits of the view of residents at ‘Schöpfwerk’ influenced by the food infrastructure?" It consists of a theoretical part, in which apart from community work, the infrastructure at the ‘Schöpfwerk’, the importance of nutrition for humans as well as nutrition- and purchasing criteria are mentioned. The qualitative research took place in the context of interviews with occupants who were interviewed with a guide on the topics of nutrition, shopping facilities, ‘Bassena’ and satisfaction with the given infrastructure. The results of this work are found in the empirical part of this paper. They are followed by a project sketch, which includes aspects of FoodCoops and can be seen as a possible extension and improvement of the food supply for possible shortcomings in the council housing settlement in the 12th district of Vienna.
