The following theory-driven paper “adolescent violence and pedagogical concepts” deals with different pedagogical strategies, which are applied regarding adolescent violence. For this purpose, this study will discuss the terms physical violence and aggression and introduce important theories of violence, particularly in regard to the adolescent phase of life. Prior to that, this article will analyze three appropriate concepts for professional use and those suited for parents and young adults. Furthermore, the introduced concepts will be combined with the theory, in order to assess the common ground as well as possible variations. This way several possibilities for action can be created for all the participants. The wide range of offers demonstrates the complexity of this subject and shows that various concepts with different emphases should be chosen according to the current situation and the clients.
