This scientific paper is about the concept of low-threshold access to professional offers from homeless shelters, or homeless support. To analyze the complexity of this topic current literature was used to approach a definition. Moreover, people who are addressed by these offers and people who find a shelter there are another important topic in this paper. People suffering not only from homelessness but are additionally mentally ill require a comprehensive amount of professional ressources, this why they are also in focus of low threshold professional offers. There are certain impacts initiated by low threshold social work, which need to be mentioned and explained to get an understanding of the topic.
